Brightwood College-Las Vegas
Brightwood College-Las Vegas is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. This college was formerly part of the Education Corporation of America. This included Brightwood College, Brightwood Career Institute, Ecotech Institute, Golf Academy of America, and Virginia College. In December 2018, it was announced that all operations would be discontinued. This is now a defunct college and no new students are being enrolled in programs. In the past, it offered several associate degree opportunities and certificate opportunities to its many students. It was a popular school in the area and students are still able to request transcripts to look into transfer options and other particulars.
This college used to have a nursing program as well, but that is also being discontinued. It had a very thorough practical nursing program that was popular in the area. The nurse aide courses were also very popular and produced many fine medical professionals over the years. Nursing students from this program are now looking into various transfer options to see how they can proceed with their education. The school even offered registered nursing courses and was capable of handing out associate degrees to graduates. This nursing program is no longer an option for students in the Las Vegas area.
