Northampton County Area Community College
Northampton County Area Community College (NCC) is located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This public community college was established back in 1967. This is a rather large school with around 34,000 students enrolled at the current time. Students are able to pursue a number of different academic programs at this college and can earn associate’s degrees, diplomas, and certificates. NCC is also well known for being one of the most affordable colleges in all of Pennsylvania. It is a popular transfer school due to this as well. Many students start their college educations at this school before transferring the credits over to four-year universities.
The NCC nursing program allows students to pursue becoming either licensed practical nurses (LPN) or registered nurses (RN). Both the practical nursing program and the associate’s degree nursing program will be comprised of general education courses, nursing courses, and clinical experiences. Students will learn all of the best nursing theories on top of developing top-tier practical skills. All graduates of the nursing program will be prepared to take the proper NCLEX licensure exam for their field of study. The nursing program at NCC has been accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
