Western Iowa Tech Community College
Western Iowa Tech Community College (WITCC) is located in Sioux City, Iowa. This community college was established back in 1966. It currently serves over 6,000 students. The school is completely accredited institution by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. WITCC has many academic programs that will appeal to prospective students. It has several associate degrees, vocational and technical certificate programs. Students will be able to participate in the intramural sports program if they so choose.
WITCC has a great nursing program that has been working to educate the next generation of nurses. The school offers LPN, ADN as well as CNA programs. This program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Students who complete the practical nursing program will be eligible to take the NCLEX-PN licensure exam. Those who graduate from the ADN program will be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN licensure exam.
