York County School of Technology - Adult & Continuing Education
The York County School of Technology - Adult & Continuing Education is located in York, Pennsylvania. This is a public vocational high school that also has adult and continuing education programs. There are more than 1600 students enrolled at this school currently. Students at YCST will be able to pursue training in automotive technology, cosmetology, welding technology, and much more. These programs are designed to ready students to go right into the workforce and it has proven to be a very popular option.
This school even has a renowned practical nursing program that many students have taken advantage of over the years. This is an 11-month program that is very comprehensive. It will teach nursing students all of the nursing skills that are required of a licensed practical nurse (LPN). Students will have chances to earn practical experience while also learning from classroom lectures. The nursing program has been approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing and is also accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
